Kaare Klint, Hans J. Wegner, Børge Mogensen, Finn Juhl... Why were so many masterpieces of chairs born in Denmark?

This book clearly introduces the history of Danish furniture design, from the prehistory, the budding period (1910s-30s) when Klint laid the foundation, the golden age (40s-60s), the decline (70s-mid 90s), and the re-evaluation period (mid 90s onwards) to the present day.
It appeals visually, using many photos, diagrams (such as designer correlation charts), and chronologies.

In particular, one of the features of this book is that the author, who has studied in Denmark, introduces the latest information on Danish furniture design based on interviews with currently active Danish designers.
Published by Seibundo Shinkosha in 2019.

No pets, no smokers.
I have read it once and kept it at home.
