It features a side-loading quick release plate with a safety pin that is secured by a large, adjustable tension lever. The VA-5X has independent pan and tilt locks, a detachable pan handle that can be used on either side of the head, two bubble levels, and durable aluminum alloy construction.

Side-Loading Plate

A side-loading plate system enables you to mount your camera weighing up to 6.6 lb with a single hand. This quick release system incorporates a large lever to lock the safety pin that secures the camera plate. The tightness of the lever lock can be adjusted using the included Allen key.

Pan and Tilt Range

A pan range of 360° and a tilt range of -60 to 90° provide a variety of shooting angles.
