Original Scheurich Keramik vase, shape 549-21, produced in West Germany in the 1970s. A bold, heavier Scheurich form with a slightly waisted body and rolled rim. Finished in a rich multi-tone glaze: deep olive green base rising through amber and cream into a blue-green drip effect. Strong vertical movement in the glaze with classic fat lava character. Clearly marked to the base 549-21 / W.GERMANY.
