Stunning large vintage gold vermeil floral brooch featuring gorgeous purple amethyst-colored stones! This impressive statement piece showcases faceted oval and round stones arranged in a dimensional flower head on an elegant, curved stem. Gorgeous and extremely well-made floral brooch. The 1940's gold over sterling setting has large amethyst glass (faceted) oval stones and foil back pink rhinestones. All are prong set. The pin is marked Sterling. It has a safety clasp. It's such a beauty!! The pin has a little heft to it.
Pre-owned condition: Very good shape -there is a little wear to the vermeil but otherwise fabulous.
