Reverse: Two eagles with wings closed, standing left on thunderbolt; cornucopia in field. Reference: Svoronos 1426; Faucher & Lorber Series 9; SNG Cop. 311–314. Size & Weight: 19.6 mm, 8.6 g. The double eagle design was a powerful symbol of dynastic rule in Ptolemaic Egypt, while the cornucopia represented prosperity and abundance.
