I have started creating jewelry again for the first time since 2016
Amber dangle earrings. 14k gold-filled ear hooks.
I purchased these stones about 30 years ago at the Tucson GLDA Gem show. I was told the stones are Turkish amber. I used 14k gold-filled earhooks and other gold-filled products. I connected each component via wire-wrapping so that the connections are secure. I prefer to make durable jewelry rather than quickly complete it. It may take me longer, but it is worth it to know that the customer won't have to worry about their jewelry falling apart.
Some amber does not test the same as does Baltic Amber, etc. These days, sellers are placing the stones in front of an LED light bulb. I have done that as well as placed them under UV light. Those photos are included with the other photos.
