5 authentic Hawaiian lei necklaces. Late 1970's to 1980's. Made of Cowrie shells, Koa seeds, snail swirl shells, and other naturally beautiful ocean shells. See all pics. This is a remarkable vintage collection that was pre-owned by my grandmother who regularly visited the Hawaiian Islands in the 60's through the late 80's. Maui & Oahu were her favorite. One is approximately 38". Three are approximately 36" and the thinnest one with the smallest shells is approximately 30"
